At Kisima Community Library in Roysambu, young moms once felt unseen are finding a second chance. Many became moms before they became adults, carrying stigma, dropped dreams, and the weight of raising a child with little support. Rafikistry, together with the Kisima Community Library which currently supports over a hundred children daily is working to change this reality. We aim to transform Kisima into a safe, empowering space where young moms can rebuild confidence, gain practical skills, access emotional healing, and reconnect with their dreams. Through storytelling circles, digital literacy, creative workshops, and mentorship, Kisima has already become a rare refuge, a place where these young women are not defined by their past, but supported as they envision a new and hopeful future for themselves and their children.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting you to help us transform Kisima into a fully equipped Second-Chance Skills Hub for 80 young moms and their children.
