Empowering Women and Girls This GivingTuesday with My Body My Body

As GivingTuesday approaches, the spirit of generosity and collective action brings communities together to drive positive change. This year, My Body My Body, a youth-led women’s rights organization based in Kenya, is stepping up to champion gender equality and the empowerment of marginalized women and girls.

Who We Are

My Body My Body is passionate about creating a world where women and girls can thrive. Through work in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention, and My Body My Body is amplifying the voices of young women and are building a future where equality and inclusion are the norm.

GivingTuesday 2024: Our Commitment to Change

This GivingTuesday, My Body My Body is proud to launch impactful initiatives that address critical issues affecting women and girls, especially in resource-poor and marginalized communities.

• Distributing Dignity Kits
  My Body My Body will provide adolescent girls with essential items to help them manage their menstrual health with dignity, breaking barriers to education and self-esteem.
• Advocacy Campaigns
  My Body My Body’s online drive will spotlight the intersection of climate change, SRHR and GBV emphasizing the urgent need for inclusive solutions and stronger policies.
• Community Outreach in Isiolo County
  In a youth-led session, My Body My Body will educate girls and young women on GBV prevention and building resilience during climate crises, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves and their communities.
