Why Nuru Collective Fellowship?
The Nuru Collective Fellowship is a transformative three-month program designed to elevate changemakers across East Africa. Rooted in the principles of the global GivingTuesday movement, this initiative equips participants with advanced leadership, fundraising, and community engagement skills to drive impactful change.
East Africa’s philanthropic landscape is evolving, presenting both challenges and opportunities. Limited funding, fragmented collaboration, and rapid socio-economic shifts call for strategic leadership capable of adapting to these dynamics. The Fellowship bridges these gaps by fostering local leaders ready to redefine generosity and build resilient communities.
The first cohort of fellows to the fellowship will be selected in January 2026 based on the submissions under the Giving Stories campaign
